‎”His tone was polite, but his eyes weren’t.”

-Mick Herron, Spook Street (Slough House, #4)

‎This is what it means to be faking.

‎We always do what you always do and are commanded by your higher superior than ours, but what they actually do is to make something beneficial to themselves.

‎Forcing someone and becoming a dictator doesn’t always help, as it often makes things worse.

‎Leadership is different because they lead.

‎Leadership doesn’t mean the person has a title and authority.

‎In fact, authoritarian and tyrannical leaders are the enemy of the people because they force people to follow.

‎Again, forcing doesn’t help, it makes something worse.

‎Leadership is a capacity to lead people to show respect and integrity, so that people also feel safe, and that’s how you show a team that works together when they feel safe.
