“It was not the pandemic that was the danger, but instead this infection, the main symptom of which was that people showed the worst side of themselves, and they were weak, immeasurably weak and immeasurably idiotic.”
-László Krasznahorkai, Herscht 07769
People are people and they have emotions whether you like it or not.
If you are only true to yourselves, then no one can blame you for it because it’s not the problem of others. After all, it’s your character.
If people don’t like you, that’s okay as long as you haven’t done anything bad to them.
On the other hand, if they do a bad thing to you but you didn’t hurt them, then that’s a different situation.
The alternative is always showing up and doing the things that you only control and ship the work.
