Philippe Greenleaf: That’s why you took my bank statements?

Tom Ripley: Exactly.

Philippe Greenleaf: So you kill me and you’re rich?

Tom Ripley: Don’t miss a trick, do you?

‎Philippe Greenleaf: It seems awfully complicated. You’d be caught immediately.

Tom Ripley: No necessarily. I might not look it, but I’ve got lots of imagination.

‎This film is based on the novel “The Talented Mr. Ripley” by Patricia Highsmith.

‎This film is old, but it becomes new to those people who haven’t watched it yet.

‎When I watched this film, I was fascinated by the idea of con artists and how they devise a plan in every situation they find themselves in, whether by creating a problem and letting others be affected, or manipulating that problem to benefit their own interests.

A Vintage film and a masterpiece of adaptation.
