”Fear lives in the guts. That’s where it makes its home. It moves in, shifts stuff around; empties a space for itself—it likes the echoes its wingbeats make. It likes the smell of its own farts.”
-Mick Herron, Slow Horses (Slough House, #1)
Fear is a tool.
This is why Horror movies are scary, because as human beings, we naturally feel fear.
Not only in the gut that the fear will feel because, biologically speaking, that fear will show in your amygdala, which is called a “Lizard Brain.”
If you experience fear, it will be beneficial to try to address it.
Action will always defeat that fear inside you.
So the question is, what action do you take so that those fears will replace a feeling of bravery?
Take note, you can’t take away those fears, and if you face your fears, the more it will stare at you.
Feel the fear and act.
