“Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom.”
-Robin Sloan, Moonbound
Freedom, what a privilege we had. Even when you are not born in this world or any country you live in, when you look at history, freedom is scarce. This means people in those days can’t do what they want to do because a few people control everything they want to control.
In today’s world, let’s call it the digital age, freedom is abundant. You can do whatever you want, as long as it abides by the law.
Anxiety strikes when the Internet of Things controls you rather than you controlling it.
What does that mean?
It means that it’s so noxious that you expect that it will do good to you but in the long run it’s not.
We must see things differently because seeing things differently is the first step that gives you freedom from anxiety.
