A Brief History of Seven Killings

© Riverhead Books

“Killing don’t need no reason. This is ghetto. Reason is for rich people. We have madness.”
-Marlon James, A Brief History of Seven Killings

This is the point of view of someone who lives mostly his life in the ghetto.

We can’t tell who someone is just by looking at them. Of course, we must know better, and knowing those people is a crucial thing because no one cares about another person unless they have a benefit from them.

When I write about Inequality, I think it’s the problem that any country faces. But everything happens for a reason, and that reason lies in not knowing about it in the first place. That’s why there are conflicts, misunderstandings, or worse killings.
