“Empires preserve their power with the stories that they tell, but just as critical are the stories they don’t—the dark silences they impose, the pages they tear out.”

‎-David Grann, The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder

‎It’s no surprise that we saw a rise of empires in democratic nations.

‎Empires at its definition is to try to control everything.

‎Just like the Roman Empire did with its powerful influence to control.

‎Just like Magellan who set sail in a vast ocean to find land that they wanted to control.

‎Guess what those empires influence in how we live today and erase the traditions of that land.

‎The problem is that there is no voluntariness.

‎The only thing that makes trust happen is to not control what you can’t control because people are people and if they follow you with their whole heart without compromise and excuses, just like they are devoted then that’s the better way to lead.
