The 4-Hour Workweek

“For all of the most important things, the timing always sucks. Waiting for a good time to quit your job? The stars will never align and the traffic lights of life will never all be green at the same time. The universe doesn’t conspire against you, but it doesn’t go out of its way to line up the pins either. Conditions are never perfect. “Someday” is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you. Pro and con lists are just as bad. If it’s important to you and you want to do it “eventually,” just do it and correct course along the way.”

‎-Timothy Ferriss, The 4-Hour Workweek

‎There is a friend who says to me, “Nobody helps you out there but yourself.”

‎Which is right?

‎Every day, every hour, and every minute that passes on that day counts when it is well spent.

‎This is why they always say, “Time is gold.”

‎However, when you spend your time doomscrolling on social media, it doesn’t make you a better person or help you develop your skills; you might as well find something that works better for you.

‎Make every day count, just like you shoot a three-pointer in basketball, because you are sure that you will make it.
