“For the first time, she understood the liberation of having nothing left to lose.”

-Tananarive Due, The Reformatory

‎What does having nothing left to lose to you?

‎That’s a difficult question because if you have many things like material things, money, or any kind of possession, let’s say, that person died and of course, the family will inherit those things.

‎But it will always, always depend on the kind of experience, situation, or story that they have in their life.

‎If it is complicated then that’s the question.

‎To me, I think having nothing to lose means making our lives extraordinary.

‎We have one life, and that one life must be dedicated to serving those who need it.
