“If we survive until the morning, we’ll live forever.”
-Adam Higginbotham, Midnight in Chernobyl: The Untold Story of the World’s Greatest Nuclear Disaster
Surviving is the point at which, because of struggles, pain, and different kinds of problems you face, it will be the foundation of what you might become.
It builds your character to keep going.
The character of what you might be going to be once you are mature enough to face the world.
The world is much bigger than you think.
Other people’s lives might be different than ours.
The alternative is to always maintain humility and keep your head down, as that’s the sign of humbleness.
