Land’s End: A Walk in Provincetown

‎”Wherever you go, Provincetown will always take you back, at whatever age and in whatever condition. Because time moves somewhat differently there, it is possible to return after ten years or more and run into an acquaintance, on Commercial or at the A&P, who will ask mildly, as if he’d seen you the day before yesterday, what you’ve been doing with yourself. “

-Michael Cunningham, Land’s End: A Walk in Provincetow

‎When you live in a big city, there is a reason behind it.

‎For example, the person might be working there. He works as an engineer and is employed by a large corporation that builds buildings in a city, operating as usual.

‎Living in a big city is so noisy, and every day people walk by, pass by each other, and that’s why it becomes so busy.

‎On the other hand, living in a province or a small town is so quiet and peaceful, or should I say relaxing, especially when there is a big farm.

‎It’s all about the place when the reason you are there aligns with why you do what you do, and it becomes a symbol and the origin of your character.

‎When someone asks, “Where are you from?” that’s the sign of who you are.
