“Routine, done for long enough and done sincerely enough, becomes more than routine. It becomes ritual—it becomes sanctified and holy.”
-Ryan Holiday, Stillness Is the Key
I write a blog post daily not fast enough to write but because it’s the way that I’m thinking enough about what I’m gonna say. Most importantly, I write daily on this site because it’s tomorrow. It’s like seizing the day!
On the other hand, when I’m in the mode of writing a novel project, It’s like I need to write down what comes to mind. I don’t care about what time it is. Sometimes I can’t recognize the time when I’m in a novel writing mode. My socials and Internet are turnoff and I don’t want distraction. (In case something important or an emergency has arrived)
Stillness is the key when doing a project, which, of course, is very helpful and useful to the quality and originality of your work.
