The Third Industrial Revolution

© St. Martin’s Press

“We have come to discover what we suspect is a new political mindset emerging among a younger generation of political leaders socialized on Internet communications. Their politics are less about right versus left and more about centralized and authoritarian versus distributed and collaborative.”
‎-Jeremy Rifkin, The The Third Industrial Revolution: How Lateral Power Is Transforming Energy, the Economy, and the World

‎Almost everything is connected.

‎Connected means that every communication, news, and entertainment will depend on the internet.

‎Even the political mindset of society will depend on the internet. (You can notice that it is happening in real time)

‎The Third Industrial Revolution is both a Threat and an Opportunity.

‎It is a threat if most people don’t take advantage of it and can’t change, even if the change that is happening is inevitable.

‎Or it’s an opportunity to make changes happen and be able to adapt to the change that is happening through the tools of the Internet of Things.
