Audition

‎”Without intentionality, there was no agency, no control, the work was happening to you. An impossible inversion.”

‎-Katie Kitamura, Audition

‎Everyone can become a writer, poet, or musician, but not everyone has the persistent effort to do the work.

‎All the successful, well-known, and renowned artists, authors, and novelists have one thing in common: they do their work, show up their work, and the agency looks for them.

‎Back in the days when the internet was not a thing, the only way to do the work of an artist was by having an agency, and if they had no agency, they had zero audience.

‎But now, because of the internet, it connects us all, connecting everything, everywhere, all at once, wherever you are in the world.

‎The point is, put yourself on the hook.

‎On the hook means that you show your work, and I bet you there are some people who will love to discuss it.
