When you are riddled with problems, then why run or be scared?
The alternative might be looking for a place with a roof, standing by for a second, and waiting for the rain to stop.
The point is, we can’t stop the uncertainty of this life, which keeps going by.
We can’t control the rain, even if you badly want to, and complaining doesn’t help.
There is a song that the lyrics say…
”There’s a rainbow always after the rain.”
If life is a shitstorm then find something that gives you a safe haven.
