”Use your imagination only on the future, never on the present or the past.”
-Adam Johnson, The Orphan Master’s Son
We imagine the future.
If we can’t imagine then it’s because we only want the present or the past.
Novels or literary writings are an imagination of the future, with elements of storytelling from the past.
It’s like reminiscing in the future.
When we write a novel, make sure that you use your imagination on what that future looks like and reminisce about it.
That’s how we might be writing an original work of yours truly.
