”That is one thing I am sure of amid my many uncertainties regarding the literary vocation: deep inside, a writer feels that writing is the best thing that ever happened to him, or could ever happen to him, because as far as he is concerned, writing is the best possible way of life, never mind the social, political, or financial rewards of what he might achieve through it.”
-Mario Vargas Llosa, Letters to a Young Novelist
We writers always write regardless of how many words we write because what matters for us is to simply put blood, sweat, and tears into words.
We must have a platform, not on social media, but a platform like this, a free space to practice and hone our skills to explore everything, like other works of fiction, if we are a fiction writer.
The one thing also about writing is that no one can ever take that away from you because it comes from you and maybe inside you and the idea that when you are ready to share it to the world, it because you as a writer, delivering a new kind of experience to your readers, to delight and maybe when they read your work, they feel that they are not alone.
The rewards take care of themselves when we truly do our work that matters not for all but for people who care.
