Everyone Who Is Gone Is Here

“Politics is a form of selective amnesia. The people who survive it are our only insurance against forgetting.”

‎-Jonathan Blitzer, Everyone Who Is Gone Is Here: The United States, Central America, and the Making of a Crisis

‎What I understand about it is that problems, issues, and other conflicts will often be overlooked, and these issues will never be addressed, leaving them unresolved and abandoned.

‎The only thing that makes it worse is that those people who are living currently especially ordinary citizens or people in a country are affected most.

‎But there is always a solution to the problems and if people stick by it it’s because maybe some are not satisfied with what they want to have more.

‎The only thing that matters is being alive and being alive means that we have a duty, a duty to make things better.
