Desmond Doss: Maybe I am prideful… but I don’t know how I’m going to live with myself if I don’t stay true to what I believe… much less how you could live with me. I’d never be the man that I wanna be in your eyes.
Having a conviction doesn’t mean you are detached from anyone, it means that you have to stand on your two feet and be yourself.
It’s essential to take note when there is something you believe in, especially when you have a goal you want to attain.
But when reality is not in your favor, it’s all a dream might as well give up.
Giving up is a real weakness.
Might as well it is useful to say that, don’t become successful but become a value.
It means that you are useful by helping with what you can help those in need.
This film is the best about rescuing and it comes from the true story of the first conscientious objector, Private Desmond Doss who didn’t shoot or have a single weapon to protect himself from enemies during WW2 but he saved more lives and brought them home alive.
The best weapon is not to have one but how can you break those weapons and just be a person who is ready to help when the opportunity is there.
