Carroll Shelby: [narration] There’s a point at 7,000 RPM… where everything fades. The machine becomes weightless. Just disappears. And all that’s left is a body moving through space and time. 7,000 RPM. That’s where you meet it. You feel it coming. It creeps up on you, close in your ear. Asks you a question. The only question that matters. Who are you?
The need for speed is something that requires fuel and maybe a turbo.
In your Art, you may also need speed, but it doesn’t mean you are fast enough to make it legendary.
Being fast and easier to create is like a copy and over and over again it’s the same.
Making original Art takes time.
This film is what makes a historical drama about making cars but at the same time it’s about racing.
The kind of film that thinks more about the driver than the car.
It means that it’s all about the driver of how he manages the car that makes the car.
