Star Treatment

© Domino Recording Company

I just wanted to be one of The Strokes
‎Now look at the mess you made me make
‎Hitchhiking with a monogrammed suitcase
‎Miles away from any half-useful imaginary highway
‎I’m a big name in deep space
‎Ask your mates but golden boy’s in bad shape
‎I found out the hard way
‎That here ain’t no place for dolls like you and me
‎Everybody’s on a barge
‎Floating down the endless stream of great TV

‎-Star Treatment by Arctic Monkeys

‎This album is a collection of live performances by the band during their appearance at the Royal Albert Hall in aid of War Child UK.

‎Bands like Arctic Monkeys are so rare that they didn’t make music by today’s trends or standards.

‎They are not like artists who create music by repetition and have a kind of music that is easy to copy; rather, they create their Art by wanting to evoke a certain feeling about it.

‎They experiment with different kinds of sound and genre whether it is rock, orchestral rock, or jazz but their main genre is alternative rock.

‎They are part of the bands that popularized the genre in the 2000s called “New Wave.” (In which The Strokes are part of it and one of their influence)

‎If you look for a kind of music that is not so heavy rock but just a bit a little kind of soft music, having a great sound in which it all came from their instruments by playing it then this band is not just a must-see in a concert but to listen to in a lifetime.
