War Films are action films that may be more than entertainment.
When I watch the first Top Gun film (1986) from the days when there was no IMAX, it’s a vintage style, and it’s like you know the difference between a high-definition video and not.
It’s a film about aviation, and if you are a pilot of any kind of vehicle, whether in the air, on land, or at sea, you know what I’m saying.
But overall this film is a masterpiece not just for its different kinds of angles in a mission but also for the storytelling of what they accomplished their mission for the greater good.
