We Are Green and Trembling

‎”I behold the trees and vines, the long and flexible roots of the air; they become a net, like the nets cast by fishermen, or no, like webs spun by spiders engrossed in their weaving, some above and some within the others, oh green and vast and aquiver, aquiver like all living things, my beloved, like you and I and all the plants, like the lizards and the entire jungle, which, as I must tell you again and again until you understand, is an animal made of many others.”

-Gabriela Cabezón Cámara, We Are Green and Trembling

‎Nature is maybe the best thing that happens in the world, and without it, how can we appreciate the real beauty of this world?

‎Sometimes we judge how beautiful or wondrous something will be by looking at its useful aspects.

‎Some people use nature for its resources and make them a detriment, and do not plant enough or do not care enough for it to grow because those people care about it.

‎Yes, it’s important enough to consider how those resources come from nature that are beneficial, but without care for future generations, then they will be destroyed and abandoned.

‎Nature at its best is a green environment that may save us from future calamities like floods and soil erosion.

‎Take care of our green environment and it will also take care of us.‎
