Writing is quiet and lonely work.
Even students in schools in different kinds of Universities write a thesis or essay to make and get what they want to get whether it’s a grade or something that they have to prove on why they have it.
The most influential and successful writers and novelists in the past, even in the present, have no actual knowledge, and it’s not important enough for them if they came from an ordinary or prestigious university, because what is important for them is the work that they do and make.
At the end of the day, even if you are finished with school or not, what matters is always the work that you do and show it to the world.
Qualifications are overrated; being consistent at showing up to your work is what matters more.
