It means your product, idea, services must not spread like a virus because people don’t what to spam them.
Spamming means you go directly to the person without permission.
We know about this literally, when someone got sick, what he/she does to him is he/she must isolate.
So the point is yes, we must spread our idea, product, and services but if we spread it like to spam people, yes it might work but it’s dangerous to have Trust and loyalty for a customer.
How about spreading our idea, product, and services to become the solution to people’s problems.
