As a Novelist, my experience about writing novels comes from experiences that I have.
According to Oxford Dictionary, a novel is a fictitious prose narrative of book length, typically representing character and action with some degree of realism.
The pen is a thing that gives an action that’s why the 1st entertainment before Civilization is Literature until Industrialists builds or invent Stage for Play, Camera for Films and any other thing that makes the forms of Art.
The Plays, Films, Novels, Manga, Anime or any other forms of Art has creator in that creators are Playwright, Filmmaker and Novelist.
William Shakespeare, Steven Spielberg and Haruki Murakami are those examples in their forms of Art.
But you need to have a pen because as Jose Rizal quote it beautifully, a pen is mightier than a sword.
