Cobb: What is the most resilient parasite? Bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm? An idea. Resilient… highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it’s almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed – fully understood – that sticks; right in there somewhere.
The question that we should ask better is, how can the idea spread?
Marketing, advertising, and even Hype can be the way to convey the idea, product, or tangible thing that is useful to people.
There are many things around, but a helpful way is for the idea to spread not because of tactics, but through the strategy of how the idea works, because it’s remarkable.
