‎”Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself, or from holding certain views which others find inadmissible. —Carl Jung”

‎-Elizabeth Strout, The Things We Never Say

‎Being alone is okay when you know how to handle things on your own.

‎Loneliness might feel like a weakness.

‎Why? Perhaps because of the inability to have a companion or a sense of belonging.

‎There is strength in unity.

‎Knowing that you need companionship is a sign that you feel bad when you are alone, but being fine or okay about it is also a sign of strength.

‎It’s a paradoxical way of seeing loneliness.
