Crossroads

‎”The dream of a novel was more resilient than other kinds of dreaming. It could be interrupted in mid-sentence and snapped back into later.”

‎-Jonathan Franzen, Crossroads

‎When you dream it’s real that you are dreaming.

‎But it’s just a dream.

‎It means that it’s natural to have a dream while you sleep and it’s a real act.

‎The same is true in writing.

‎While writing the novel, the writer uses imagination and sometimes daydreams.

‎He thinks about his dreams, and they become a novel.‎
