”Do you know what we call opinion in the absence of evidence? We call it prejudice.”
-Michael Crichton, State of Fear
What are the first things to look at when there is something called judgment?
Maybe Evidence.
However, discussing evidence doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the proof that the judge or prosecutor will use to make a judgment.
This is why writers, artists, and filmmakers are so important in our society (even if some of their genres are fiction) because they provide an in-depth look at not just a one-sided story but the overall situation.
You, the reader will always be the judge especially when you read a certain kind of book whether it’s a fiction or nonfiction.
Prejudice has a biased aspect.
Look for the other side because that’s the right and has a moral thing to do.
